Arsenal looks solid for sure

With Arsenal looking very solid against previously unbeaten Bayern, it's hard to discount them as amongst the favourites this year. Then again last season's eventual winners just scraped by the first stage of the competition and still won it. In my opinion the league stage is largely unimportant and should be skipped. Just start with the real tournament directly and give the players a break every once in a while.
