Geordie had an incredible counsellor on board the ship, my head canon is that after many many sessions, Deanna said enough is enough and got a restraining order.

Having not watched Picard, my head canon will be he maintained a relationship with Sonya, the nerdy Ensign who spilled her Hot Chocolate all over Picard.
Poor Sonya Gomez. She can grow to be the badass captain of an Obena-class cruiser and slated to go on first contact missions, but that's not how we remember her.

I just watched that episode a few days ago. What was he thinking, keeping that around? It was actually in the official engineering logs as a reference item, which is how she found it.

The first two seasons were so-so, but Season 3 was basically a TNG reunion complete with the Enterprise D, so it was lots of fun.
