I never understood cruises. Am I missing out?
I mean, I do get using a boat to travel to nice places, but that boat should not have a bowling alley on it imo.

Cruises started to become big when non-stop trans-Atlantic flights became cheap and available since there were suddenly a lot of big ships without enough passengers.
