Raise manufacturing wages then, Huang

Alternate plan: Golden visa program that went live today allowing the rich and powerful to buy citizenship that the fascist right claims has to be protected. Protected from the poor apparently while allowing criminals and thieves from everywhere else to buy their way in. Companies can buy on behalf of their employees, which will of course suppress wages, which is the whole point.

And they are also incredibly hard on the body

Oh, the factory jobs that are dissipating due to automation? Cool cool.

No, people need to find success in beheading the aristocrats again. Every successful CEO doesn't need to have a head.

This fucking sucks man, we can either be something like "prompt engineers" or "data labeling analyst" or we can go do manual labor. In the first case it's a race until those jobs are also automated away. In the second case you can race your body giving up with your labor being devalued so much you are basically a slave. This AI future sucks.

This needs to be talked about a lot more. I know there's a shortage of skilled trades people in the U.S., but long hours, harsh conditions, and physically demanding work are rough on older workers.

There's quite of few "alpha" men who think they're rich making $100k-$120k/yr for skilled labor but also work 50+ hrs/wk

It might be alright in your 20s and 30s. Less alright in your 50s.

I swear to you! Together, we can make slavery work this time! Again!

He can suck my Huang for pushing that sort of utter idiocy.
You and your ilk helped make the industry and economy what it is by, you know, not building any fabs in the US for fucking AGES. We HAD fabs. We stopped making fabs because Taiwan and SK got really good at fabs too, and had cheaper labor, so we decided to stop fucking competing. Which has pretty goddamn obvious implications.

Paying for a roof over your head, maybe, and nothing else.

The only factory I'll work for is this pitchfork factory. 🧜♂️
