I'm not going to waste my time on it if it's an absolute trash fire like the movie, is the thing. Sounds like it definitely wasn't that bad, though, so I'll give it a go.

The addition of the backstory on Zuko’s crew was a very nice touch. Cautiously optimistic on season two.

More Avatar: TLA stuff comes out. The more I think we are so lucky the original show was so good. Very thing after it sucked.
EDIT The further away you get from A:TLA. The more things start to suck.
