What a tragic story. What happened to her things? Was she able to get any of them back? Also wondering why if the police could take her things, why couldn't they also take her bus?
I hope we can stop these kind of sweeps from happening, but in the current reality, I'm just trying to understand what someone in this kind of situation should do to best protect themselves.
