It's probably worth mentioning in the summary that:

  • the prisoners are on hunger strike
  • they're not being dealt with in accordance with the laws around what's supposed to happen when prisoners go on hunger strike
  • they're not even convicted, just on remand.

The sensationalised criticism sounds a lot dumber than the real criticism, and is much easier for people scrolling past to dismiss as nonsense and just scroll past.
