Outing myself as a casual here, but after I heard this I tried a bunch of other Carcass albums and this is still my favorite. It's on a major label if I'm not mistaken, so the Indie snob in me is grumbling.
Surgical Steel is very similar and quite good.
I still love Necroticism... and Symphonies of Sickness the most I think, but Heartwork and Surgical Steel are also quite bangers (and more relevant to this particular community). ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

Such a formative album for the genre! Gawd and the riffs in No Love Lost forever live rent-free in my head.
