$1.5B per year is what the EPA is SUPPOSED to be giving to the states' DWSRF programs, but they've been clawing it back. Also, for the localities that could be harmed by increased rates to pay for PFAS treatment, they'd qualify for EPA grant money.
This is just another story about how the federal government is reducing funding for public health.
