Oh cool, I just visited Guilin in June. We did the river tour and really enjoyed it. I liked how it's a smaller city, by Chinese standards (pop. about 2 mil). More relaxed than say, Chengdu or Beijing and so beautiful.

Oh wow, they have big boats now... When I was there it was all 3 person bamboo rafts, haha

The pathway is evidence of habitation too (at least in the ultra-broad sense it's used in this comm, lol)! Gorgeous shot!
