You may ask me why I chose this frame from this film.
I found it curious that the family was watching “It's a Wonderful Life” dubbed in Spanish while on holiday in Florida.
This contrasts with today's times, when immigrants are deported and democracy is destroyed by values that “It's a Wonderful Life” denounced as fragile but yet, essential for everyone. Not only in this festive season, but every day of the year.
A frame within a frame, I thought this would be, although unusual, the most pertinent film frame for this festive season.
Happy Holidays!

In the first one the film is dubbed in French. Must be one of their holiday traditions to watch it.
