I felt a bit under the weather today. Despite resting in bed, I still cooked and folded some of the laundry. Life goes on, bra, la-la la-la-la-laaa
Goodnight, sleep tight, bug bite. ππ

PS. Is it customary in your country to set off (consumers) fireworks at this time of year too?

Hope you feel better soon George. Fireworks are a pet hate of mine as I've owned and looked after too many dogs that get freaked out by them. Unfortunately, they're allowed in the UK up to midnight so you get random bangs from anywhere! As far as I'm concerned, I wish there was a total ban on the sale of them to the public. Too many accidents and nasty things done with them for my liking. Sorry, rant over! Not enough sleep! Grrrr βΉοΈ

In the US itβs more customary for municipalities to put on New Years fireworks shows, tho some folks do set them off (mostly itβs illegal though).

@Xorky @wordle in South Australia it's illegal but people do it anyway (they mostly get them in the Northern Territory, where they're legal on Territory Day). There are always spent fireworks on the beach on New Years Day
