How do you create topics?

New to PieFed here. From my understanding: topics are a collection of communities, allowing you to see all their posts in one feed, right? In my instance, I can't create a topic, only if I'm already in one? It feels a little confusing. Any advice?

Users make feeds. Go to "Explore" and "My Feeds".

Unfortunately I monopolised a lot of terms when I made the Forumverse network.

Hm... My instance doesn't have "My feeds" under Explore! Weird.

That's so weird! It works! Wonder why my instance doesnt show the link? It really should...

Hi, I just did some investigating.

It appears you don't get the 'My Feeds' or any of the feeds options until you actually subscribe to a feed in the first place. I'll bring it up with the devs, as I don't know if that's working as intended.

Also amazing feed, I've subbed ❤️

Edit: You can find the initial 'feeds' page under the Communities section, which when subbing will show up under Explore section.

Ohhhh I thought it might be something like this! Thanks for investigating 💖.

Also thank you!! I just wanted an easy feed to collect all trans communities together and that seemed like a good way to do it ☺️

Yeah as others mentioned, it really could use some streamlining, so it's helpful that you brought this topic up!:-)
