People who insist on alkaline water (and other such nonsense) deserve exactly what they get: no benefits and empty wallets.

The charlatans who peddle the stuff, though. They can go right to hell.

I was about to explain how water alkalinity is pretty important to environmental scientists (and probably a few more groups that I don't know about).

And then I googled it.

And now I'm even more disappointed in humanity than I was before

The worst one I saw was some human-shaped piece of garbage telling people that cancer is actually a fungus and drinking alkaline water will kill that fungus. And if the twelve thousand dollar alkalinization machine is too expensive, they also sell bottled alkaline water.
