The French law, approved by lawmakers in February, bans the production, import or sale from January 2026 of any product for which an alternative to PFAS already exists.
I see a loophole. Hopefully it's difficult to exploit. There are uses for which there are no PFAS alternatives. Also I hope they banned them as a class and not a list of specific substances.
