It's built on concepts from the 60s.
It's not user friendly in the slightest
It focuses on speed over security.

Sounds like a philosophical answer to a technical question. What distro, what desktop environment are we talking about? What were you unable to do, what was impractical? Surely a terrible OS has more to show than three vague bullet points...
