Does the person filming mention why he's picking up a single tadpole to take to the basin? I don't see the point in filming that part as I don't understand Spanish (I think) at all.

As someone who's got a bit of Castellano (hopefully @Sergio@piefed.social can help me out?), this seems kinda performative by that person... I don't know.
I've kept fish in the past, and maybe I'm overreacting here, but what I DO know is that it's super-important to keep their 'parameters tight,' and healthy, for them. If that makes sense...

Yeah it's some kind of spanish. He's just saying, "This is known as 'etapas'(?)" and he repeats that, then he's like "now we're gonna put it in the basin." I think the whole point was to differentiate the simple color of the single tadpole to the colors of the group of fully-grown fish.
