Reminds me of the time I used my hacksaw to break up a rather thick slab of chocolate I'd bought (standing on it got me most of the way, but splitting it into bite-sized pieces would have required more downward force than my weight could provide).
Of course, the sawblade didn't actually cut it well at all, but it did generate enough heat to melt through it.
could break off a chunk and place it in a double boiler then pour into molds or just drip on parchment paper add another layer and drip more. should end up with flat round chips.

Yeah, so buying chocolate in bulk slabs turns out to be wildly impractical. Fun though.

Yeah, I have a strategy and its wrapped in towels and whack with granite rolling pin like I'm beating it until it cracks my counter top.

Honestly even with a a 10lb sledgehammer impact didn't do much, I think this lump was just too thick (or powerful!)

Yeah I mean I could but how about instead gnaw gnaw gnaw slobber chew gnaw
In thirty years my grandchildren will have deep nostalgia for grandma's Chocolate Chunk cookie. One chunk, many tears!™

Isn't that what planes are used for?

I think mostly people use those to fly around on.

I feel like a plane would produce chocolate shavings, not chips.
