This is megacorp and ultrawealthy rulership, and the people of the USA need to recognize this and organize, join unions and call for a general strike for as long it takes like Greek dockworkers did with wmd for Israel genocide of Palestinians.

they need to be reminded they are not to follow illegal orders.

First illegal order they should refuse is being deployed on citizens. National guards are the only ones that should be deployed internally.

Ah yes military vs civilians. Totally American

Around 2% of the US military aren't US citizens, which isn't a lot, but enough that virtually everyone in the military knows at least one.
And that's not even getting into how it's one of the few true "mixing pots" left from original America.
Military will be better than ICE, especially because they're actually trained.

Any single solder that obeys an order to deploy on US soil against US citizens is far worse than ICE. That soldier is in fact committing treason, is blatantly breaking the law, and is utterly failing to obey the oath they took when they signed up.
"Just following orders" won't protect them when justice comes calling. I hope they all know this.

Which is why I keep reminding people that we cannot expect to fight on their terms.
The US cannot effectively fight guerrilla fighters. It has proven that in Vietnam and Afghanistan.
