Zoom TKL is amazing, but I've never had the chance to play with a F1-8X V2. Does anyone have experience with both? I hear the zoom is a great price/ performance, but the F1-8X seems a bit higher build quality?

I'm pretty sure geon will have the better quality product. At a higher price though.
Zooms are nice, i like my 65 a lot, but I'd only pick a zoom over a geon if i'd really want a special colour.
Depends on what you're looking for. Zooms are great if you like foam. Building without, go for geon.

Good points; I didn't realize that some boards are powder coated (more color options) and some are anodized (more durable) until I noticed a small scratch on my Zoom TKL. I'm gonna grab a Glare or F1-8X V2 next time they're available
