How did you react when you noticed the voice-line "I once was an adventurer like you, until I got an arrow to the knee." from one of the guards? Did you break out in laughter? Or think "ow".
I think I heard it by whiterun guards and thought "the knee?" "that must have hurt".

I don't remember my original reaction when I first played the game but recently when the Switch 2 upgrade came out, I decided to do a quick main questline only run to test it out and got this line almost immediately after entering Whiterun for the first time. From the start I had gone straight to the dungeon where you get the Dragonstone and then directly to Whiterun. I was like, what are you on about? I'm literally the opposite of an adventurer.. And then the next guard asked if someone stole my sweetroll…

The random comments, they are often completely out of context, of the NPCs made me lol often in Skyrim.
