Increased electricity demand has already been on the rise because of the expansion of artificial intelligence data centers in the U.S., which consume large quantities of energy and have affected residential energy bills.
The storm seems like pretense though bc the article says bills will go up for 6 months to a year even if the cold snap is just for a week, so it seems like people are being primed to pay higher prices this fall for a cold snap in January, when the real reason for constantly rising costs is AI data centers.
With our new energy subscription services you'll save almost 100% on your energy bills*!
As long as you never need energy.
Good news everyone! The US Northeast will have record low gas prices... all we have to do now is to figure out how to keep the region's air temperature above 70F year-round!
