I made a free, no ads, no-account stargazing forecast that focuses on readability instead of data overload

Most astronomy / stargazing apps I tried were powerful, but hard to read, cluttered, or clearly aimed at experienced astrophotographers. I wanted something that answers a simple question quickly:

“Is tonight worth going outside and why?”

What makes it different:

Aggregates moon phase, astronomical twilight, clouds, seeing,  transparency and planet visibility into one readable overview

Focus on fast human comprehension, not raw graphs

No account, no ads, no paywalls, built as a personal tool first

Installable as a PWA (works like an app on your phone)

Uses open-meteο, suncalc and astronomy-engine under the hood

Shows NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (for fun)

This started as a passion project for my own use, but I figured others might enjoy a calmer, more readable alternative to existing tools.

Planned features:

Optional email & push alerts when conditions are optimal

Location-based highlights (what’s interesting in your sky)

Possibly a native Android / iOS app
