You seem grumpy. Steam updates dont break games. Your OS updates break games. Hate the correct people cuz at worst steam is annoying but all in all a respectful company who stands up for the interests of its users. Windows/microsoft dont give a fuck about you or if you like their shit and will create major fuckups that will cause entire SSD disk drives to disappear so updates that distroy functionality of games is them at their best.
