There have been upgrades all along crown st for the last few years to modernise and beautiful it. That particular intersection has just had a new set of intersection lights that seemed to be really shoddily done.

When there were temporaries, there were exposed wires, pedestrian buttons falling off, traffic light covers falling down and blocking the light. I hope they are found liable and shut down if they did dodgy work.
