Just in case anyone is missing it, this is a satire article from a site like The Onion. I totally agree with the sentiment it's expressing, but I don't think that it's ideal to post it in this way, since it looks believable as real news.
If it was shared on a world news communtiy, I would agree. But this is a Canadian humour community and The Beaverton is an established satire site here, similar to The Onion.
That being said, a flair would be a good compromise if Lemmy supports it in the future.
Is it really satire when Kash Patel literally said that?
“You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have that right to break the law and incite violence,” Patel said during an interview on Fox News on Sunday.
I mean satire is, or at least good satire, based on reality. In this case the ‘based’ covers almost everything with the schools part being the tiny grain of fiction.
Poor widdle government afraid of their citizens enough to directly tell them to give up their second amendment right, disarming them, while their enemy (ICE), fully armed (and apparently trigger happy untrained goons) are free to carry all the weapons and shit they want? Fuck that.

Post flairs are coming in a future version from what I understand.
A workaround could be editing the title to add

This isn't even satire, this is literal conservative policy to arm teachers to "fix" school shootings
