New kernel and new Mesa drivers for one. Should bring some performance improvements.

Recommend giving it a try, but you may have difficulty reverting if you upgrade.
Not sure I've noticed anything groundbreaking, was really excited about development news myself but stayed for the emulation/threading fix.
The only drawback I've seen so far is that I get a black screen when using remote play to my steam link or steam link app to my TV.
Enable developer options. Go into developer options and "Show Advanced Update Channels" Switch to the new update channel Upgrade took less than 15 minutes IIRC
