I fully expect to one day read a story about how Altman just runs away.
Like, dissolves the company, fakes his death, runs to a non extraditing country with bags of gold and try to hire a cartel as security...
You know, some real John McAfee shit.
He built a magnificent house of cards, but more than any he knows it won't last. And I really want to see what his exit strategy is.

He won't need to run, he is an executive.
He will retire effective immediately and take his golden parachute while the next ceo takes the fall for everything the last ceo did.
Corporate scapegoating 101, the fault may be the last guy but the one in charge takes the blame.

I think hubris and ego are too large for a realistic outlook of the future. He really thinks he'll get away with it and become king of AI and therefore king of the world. Just as Musk thinks he'll be emperor and E-Sport champion of Mars.
Realism would just slow them down.

Bro has spent trillions of dollars over a decade to develop this...
And still can't find a way to monetize it that's actually profitable.
There's no way he can think the product will actually work. He can't be that stupid.
But he knows the grift won't last forever, which is why I think he has an exit plan to avoid taxes and loan payments that would bankrupt him.
One day he'll just ghost
