Given that the stun setting on a phaser is relatively safe, it must be tempting to just knock irritating people out all the time.

I'd just like to remark on the cleverness of that title. Was thinking "Wait, season 2? Where's Riker's beard?" and then it hit me about the truncated s2 because of the writer's strike.
