Echoes - photo essay.

It's been a quieter time photographically, so I gathered some earlier black & white work into a photo essay called Echoes. A different vibe than usual - gloomy, industrial, dilapidated - but it felt right.

Thank you for checking it out.

There's a significant melancholy to these, but I'm confused by your title of "Echoes" - echoes of what? Times past, or something more?

Thank you for the comment, that's a good question.

Title is vague on purpose, as I personally enjoy finding my own interpretations in other people's work, and I wanted to leave that space open as well.

Initially, I was drawn to the symmetry and quietness of these spaces and moments. But for me, these places felt lived in and purposeful in the past. On a quiet, empty day, there's a sense of ghosts, echoes of former activity.

Thank you - I was wondering whether I was missing some specific historical references, but your explanation makes your thoughts on this interesting collection clear.
