Got a domain name yesterday, used Netim.com , a French registrar. Which other ones do you recommend?

I've been a happy customer with joker.com (Germany) for years.

Gandi.net, also French.

hetzner.com - german | combell.be - belgian

I have all my stuff on ovh.com (also french), service, uptime & cost all very good IMO.

I quite like netim, I've been moving my domains there as they expire.

I been using the Bulgarian cloudns.net for years. Good or bad?

I grabbed my domain with Mijndomein (Netherlands). I'm personally for a good EU-based hosting provider to build a new version of my site on.
