I have that already for YouTube, but I am trying to completely move away from google.
Most of what I watch is on peertube or nebula already anyway. Just don't have a good way to get peertube on TV.
I tried it an unfortunately it's a no go. It just gives me a text list of a few videos for whatever instance I select. Thanks for the suggestion though.

There's only the official PeerTube app, NewPipe and GrayJay that I'm aware of. No idea how these apps functions on Android TV though.

I tested all of those, and also libretube and p2play and they all don't work with a remote control unfortunately.

Maybe give smarttube a glance. I run that on two android stb's and it works with a remote. Just not sure about peertube.

Well there is a Kodi Plugin, so you could probably install the Kodi app and use that
