Can we get features designed to be addictive banned, generally? Regular users need to be gained by having a good quality product, not by exploiting brain chemistry.

Assembly Bill 962 is fucked up.
I am not a lawyer, but the text of the bill makes it seem that many many websites, Firefox, and command line terminals are all "app stores" to be regulated, as they are able to download "apps" onto mobile devices.
The State of Wisconsin and parents could sue Lemmy "developers" (meaning server owners) unless they make you provide your ID.
