The shutdown also shifted back the release of the January jobs report. Those numbers, previously scheduled for Friday, will now be out on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Brace yourselves for next Wednesday!

As it is, January is normally a bad time for job numbers. With everything else going on, I’m not optimistic.
