I like drum machines as much as anyone else, but there's something really refreshing to having human-powered drums in songs like this.

Yes I can think of a few, far too fond of long hi hat fills at inhuman pace. For fear of being too minimal and letting the composition breathe.

I think it was Psyclon Nine I'm trying to remember, when I saw them live they had a human drummer too, and it really added to their sound.
