Yikes lol, therians have a right to exist but it is a wack belief system for sure. What's wild is I totally get the appeal of playing pretend and wearing masks and hanging with ya mates. What I don't get is the leap to it being a full blown spiritual belief. As someone who doesn't know better, therians come across as just super intense furries.

When consensus reality is hostile to your fundamental identity whence you cannot escape, forming an alternative belief system is a logical response. Personally, I was so radicalised by My otherkin experiences that I became an anarcho-antirealist. I now seek destruction of the idea that the world around us is objective.

Oooh! Now that is an interesting take I had not heard before. Anarcho-antirealism sounds like something I could enjoy, do you know of any cool writings on the subject? Personally I strongly believe in an objective reality so anything you can share to convince me otherwise is greatly appreciated.

You're in luck, I wrote the most prominent antirealist manifesto, which you'll find at https://soulism.net/. I also write an antirealist blog and administrate the antirealist PieFed instance. Have a browse of !soulism@multiverse.soulism.net if the manifesto feels too wordy.

I don't understand why you are seemingly bothered by who I am

You can't identify as an animal in any more meaningful way than an animal can identify itself as a human

How do you know what animals identify as? Cats who grew up surrounded by dogs often time behave like them and see themselves as a part of the pack. What you identity as is up to you, on itself it's not really a claim about biology.

Now, if you believe in past lives and stuff you are being silly IMO, but I also believe in weird shit that makes living more comfortable so who am I to judge.
