I wish I would've realised sooner that I don't have to solve every fictional problem I came up with the same second I came up with them 😁

Sometimes, you need to wait for your character to solve the problem, before you know the solution yourself. That's part of the writing process, at least for me. My characters and I are often on a journey together, that's my favorite thing about writing fiction.

Sometimes problems just don't have solutions! I'd rather read about characters having to cope and adapt to a serious problem than have the problem neatly solved with some pseudo Deus Ex Machina solution that makes no sense.
