Please tell me not one here actually believes this nonsense.

You all do know they pay NK runaways for the most salacious lies, right? There's an actual "industry" backed by the CIA in SK and everything. It helps them get publishing deals and TV exposure. Because otherwise they can't get jobs in SK.

If you track back to the primary sources of any anti-NK article like this, if you can even find an actual source, it's always the CIA or one of it's NGOs.

No country is perfect, especially one subjected to a US led Western economic embargo for decades in the part of Korea with the least arable land.

But yea, effectively, it's all good in NK and the only issues are the ones created by the US.

You do realize the history of Korea, right?

How after the Japanese occupation, Communism had taken hold at a grassroots level as a way to rebuild the country behind the resistance led by Kim Il Sung, the man who effectively founded N. Korea after the US invaded, committed genocide on JeJu Island and started the Korean war?

All because of the US "war on Communism" Domino Theory.

So the US occupied S. Korea and N. Korea was simply trying to free them from another occupation force.

Did you know the US military ran S. Korea for decades after the Korean War and still has an outsized influence on it even today.

90% of what you know about Korea is CIA propaganda.

So yea, if the US would get it's ass out of SK, there would literally be nothing to worry about.

Yea, no country is perfect. NK doesn't lead the world in incarceration. NK doesn't routinely invade/overthrow other countries for their oil resources.
