Whenever I feel down

I reach for an empty box of RAM to look at.

Hey, you appreciate what you got and think of the less fortunate.

24*16GB DDR4

Only runs at 1600 MT/s tho, as 3 channels with 4 DIMMs each per CPU, with only registered RAM, is too much for that platform.

I’m so glad I built a new system with 64gb of ddr5 just a month or two before memory prices started to skyrocket

Same here; Upgraded the old media/gaming PC in the living room back in October.

The same 32GB kit I bought then for $90 is now $430. Utterly insane.

$60.

(Source: I paid $120 for 2x16GB of the same type of RAM used from Ebay last week.)

I'm sorry, but that would depress me further. I'd rather just avoid the topic entirely, and focus on ways of squeezing the most out of what I've got - starting with lightweight Linux distros, or a "Tiny" stripped down Windows release should I have to go that route.
