Let’s just say my expectations were internet stereotypes and the reality was there was just a bunch of super smart well dressed people giving interesting talks.
Sure but Canonical is British and LM is French. Debian is the base for about 2/3 of Linux distros so if we’re going to use the base as a metric for what is American we wipe out most of Linux.
I use VanillaOS which is Spanish IIRC but is based on SID I don’t think of it as American
