Totally! I was in Rome last week and my photos are 90% statue-related. And the rest are exquisitely-dressed Italians. My drawing references are sorted for a while!
I think it turned out fabulous! Don't knock yourself down - high ambitions is great but see the progress you are making. I bet you improve a lot if you look back at earlier works.

It is not. It was drawn freehand using a dip pen and an inkwell, over pencil outlines, from a photo.
