So I have activitypub up and running on my wordpress blog, but posts don't show

Has anyone else had this experience? I've checked that the post author is correct.

Mastodon doesn't fetch old posts, only posts made after someone follows you will federate to their server.

It's a defect in Mastodon's activitypub implementation.
