Good Talk -- Do Canadians Really "Hate" Americans?

https://youtu.be/do4O4cykjbU

Good episode as usual.

The Good Talk threesome really isn't happy with Avi Lewis'es recent comment on Mark Carney. 😄

Also they likened his proposals about public options for food, telco, housing to the Soviet Union. These are knowledgable Canadians. They must know enough Canadian history to recall that crown corporations providing basic services to Canadians is very much a Canadian tradition. Whaddayamean Soviet Union?

Americans? No, not as a rule, though I'm getting increasingly fed up with many of their "I'm one of the good ones" declarations.

The USA, though?

Pax Americana has always been a threat, and the country has always been a fascist bully. The sooner we accept that and treat them accordingly the bettet.

Maybe they'll actually do something about it, for once.

Yep not individually but as a whole. I also hat American companies and wish we wouldn't have sold out to them.

It's tricky. Most Canadians don't hate the american people but they are just tired of america's largesse. Big, brassy, brazen and loud, loud, loud all of the time. Let's start living our lives again, not jumping up and down all mad all the time.

We don't hate them, but oh boy they are stupid.

As an American, I unfortunately agree

Hey, not all of us are stupid. I mean, I am, but not all of us.

I do, always have and always will.
