Tesla Ios app - location

Hello, i have been driving Tesla for almost 3 years.

Recently ios app suggested me to change location sharing to „always”.

I see that Tesla app check my location all the time. How did it work in the past? I didnt have any issues with opening car without location sharing, but recently it seems to be a problem
