That doesn't sound like StarWars at all.
40k, oh yes, obviously. And it'd be spread on so many planets because... [unexplained currently. maybe explained in new lore in 10 years]
I’m not a Star Wars fan so I don’t know the timeline of when the Sarlacc lore was fleshed out, but I imagine the bit about being digested over a thousand years was added to the movie script because it sounded cool, then the real nerds had to try to explain how that could make any sense in universe.
