Sure, having to make plans to evacuate some tourists and expats is totally being drawn in the war...

Not really, as in intentional provoked like atacking Cyprus which is in the EU? That's apart from atacking ships in the Suez and other shit. Doesn't mean EU will atack Iran, but Iran is definitely atacking EU boats and territory.

Well, Cyprus has a British air base, which was (and possibly still is) used by the US air force as a staging area for missions in the Middle East. Military installations used by an opponent are legitimate targets in a war.
