The journalist was fired by his newspaper after comparing Israel to Russia with regards to rebuilding. Whether the question is valid I'll leave up to you, but this has little to do with journalistic freedom. It's an employer firing a worker, not a government surpressing free speech.

Same thing. European "news" companies are all subservient to power. There's a reason no reporter asks these questions.
