Does anyone know how to run the elden ring enemy and item randomizer mod on Linux? I've been searching for guides but struggling to find any that where useful or up to date. Have seen people mention they have made it work though.
I'm fairly new to Linux (I'm on Bazzite) so not sure how and where to even start attempting to figure it out myself.

me3 is your friend and has a native Linux version. Didn't run the randomizer yet but seamless coop and reforged work just fine.
I would recommend creating a portable install inside of the game folder. They have a Linux guide here: https://me3.help/en/latest/#quick-start-guide
Let me know if you have issues with this.

Thanks, this looks good. I like that it creates separate save files as well so no risk of contaminating the vanilla save files.
Randomizer mod needs .NET runtime though and not sure how to run it with this. Didn't see anything in the instructions about something like that unless I missed something. Not used to doing these kind of set ups on Linux because honestly I haven't needed to do anything like this yet.

This is for garuda but they said they ran it through Wine or Lutris for the modded versions. So it sounds like they used that instead of Proton.

They also linked another guide that looks promising but is 3 years old, has a lot of steps and lots of comments saying it still doesn't work. Will try it out later today though.

No matter what its gonna be some form of just using Wine or Lutris if I'm being honest with you.

Googled it and found an answer in about 10 seconds. What happened when you googled it?

Obviously I didn't find an answer, otherwise I wouldn't be asking here. I also checked the devs discord and reddit.
Could you link the answer you found please?

Here's a hint. Steam deck is Linux.

What a needlessly hostile comment. At least share your answer, jeez.

I did share the answer. Google basic shit before wasting people's time.

where?

They decided to ask on a forum instead which is just as valid as googling, that is how googling gets its results lol

If you say so. I say stupid questions get stupid answers.

Still Google? What a noob. A real researcher would recommend Ai.
