I hope this community doesn't mind a bit of "bird listening" data!

You have a microphone on your porch or something? How does this work?

Using BirdNET-Go and giving it access to a few of my camera RSTP streams. You can also use an onboard/USB microphone if you have one.

All data gets fed back to https://app.birdweather.com/

Cool. I do have an RSTP stream of my balcony that I ingest in a locally running frigate. Migth not have audio, but I'll check it out^^

Yes, I am restreaming from my frigate/go2RTC streams, rather than giving birdnet direct access to the camera. Not that I'm worried, I just like everything to use Frigate instead of the cameras directly.

Nice! That graph looks way better than the standard Birdnet one!

I am running the standard version, and I am using the standard Mastodon python module to upload the daily stats here: @BirdNet@mammut.gogreenit.net

Yes I really love the GUI for Go.

I don't see any posts in your upload community...should I? I had been posting mine to a dedicated Matrix channel but I haven't set that back up since moving from Pi to Go.

Oh, sorry, the bot is running on Mastodon, and Lemmy doesn't seem to show them, try this: https://mammut.gogreenit.net/@BirdNet instead
