That’s true, it would be tricky in some cases. It would be interesting to see how this pans out with big tech companies though. For example would Apple be required to provide third party repair shops with their batteries and screens etc? It will be interesting to see if thats the case

I would presume you could make the legal argument, but try getting a repair manual for that ebike you bought off Amazon Marketplace from China...
